Trump's Granddaughter Receives Expert Tips from Tiger Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for major competition

The rising star has impressive social media presence

Kai Trump can count on multiple prominent cheerleaders as she makes her LPGA debut later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, an avid golfer, possesses several golf courses and often matches against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she mentioned.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, advised her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He practically advised me to play and relax," she continued.

"From my perspective, he's just a normal grandpa. He can't make it for the tournament. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."

As an amateur, Kai has played in only three events this year and maintains the 461st position in AJGA rankings.

Yet she can receive tips from 15-time major champion, in a relationship with her mother.

"He stands as the greatest golfer in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's an even better human being. He suggested me to play, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."

The golfer will compete against several the biggest names in women's golf at the Annika, featuring world number two the champion, England's Charley Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce golf to new audiences, especially reaching younger fans.

The social media influencer has a massive following and has started her own clothing and lifestyle brand.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
