Plane Carrying US Defense Secretary Required to Land in UK Due to Crack in Cockpit Window

A plane carrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an emergency landing in the United Kingdom on Wednesday following a fracture was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an announcement which verified that all passengers were secure.

"The plane touched down based on established safety measures and all passengers, among them Pete Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson stated in a social media post.

The secretary was coming back from a quick journey to the Belgian capital when the incident occurred.

This event is not the initial instance that a American defense plane carrying a senior official has experienced mechanical issues.

Earlier this year, a United States Air Force aircraft ferrying Marco Rubio to the city in Germany was required to head back to Washington after experiencing a technical issue.
